This section provides information on using your Thinkific coupons with the CheckoutJoy App for Thinkific.
How does it work
The CheckoutJoy App for Thinkific uses the Thinkific API to access coupon information in your Thinkific account.
When a customer submits the coupon code, CheckoutJoy will validate the coupon with Thinkific to ensure that it's a valid coupon code, and that there are coupons available for redemption.
If the coupon is valid, the discount will be applied to the checkout.
Once the customer completes checkout, the coupon will be marked as redeemed. If there are a limited number of coupons configured in Thinkific, then the Remaining count will be adjusted accordingly.
Discount Types
By default, Thinkific allows discounts based on percentage or fixed amounts
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Percentage | Give a % discount on the whole cart amount. This is the recommended discount type |
| Fixed | Give a fixed discount in USD. CheckoutJoy will only allow fixed discount coupons if the cart is in USD |
How to enable
Coupons are enabled on our custom sections by default. If you want to hide the coupon section, you can uncheck the option in the Custom Section Settings area in the Thinkific Page Builder.
